Solar Energy Sharing Multifunctional Lamp: A Design Revolutionizing Lighting in Underdeveloped Areas

Providing Sustainable Lighting Solutions for All

By Zhou Qingqing and Peng Lanying

Using solar energy, the Solar Energy Sharing Multifunctional Lamp, created by Zhou Qingqing and Peng Lanying, has revolutionized lighting in underdeveloped areas. This innovative design aims to solve the electricity problem faced by many countries in Africa, providing a sustainable and renewable source of light for communities in need.

The Solar Energy Sharing Multifunctional Lamp features an ultra-large solar panel that carries its own light energy sensor and can rotate 360 degrees. Below the panel, there is a large area of energy-efficient lighting, allowing people to gather under the lamp for studying, working, or simply having fun. Additionally, each solar lamp is equipped with nine removable charging hand lights, which can be used at home and easily recharged by placing them back in their original positions.

With a power of 35 watts, the solar panel can fully charge the battery in just 5 hours on a sunny day. The stored power supply can support the lamp to work for 10 hours as a headlight or 12 hours as a flashlight. This makes it an ideal solution for both public street lighting and individual household use.

By utilizing solar energy, the Solar Energy Sharing Multifunctional Lamp not only meets the need for public street lamps but also addresses the lighting requirements of each individual family. This design not only provides a practical solution to the electricity shortage problem in underdeveloped areas but also contributes to the economic development of these regions.

The Solar Energy Sharing Multifunctional Lamp has garnered recognition for its innovative and practical design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018, a prestigious accolade that celebrates well-designed, practical, and innovative creations. This award recognizes the lamp's integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and its contribution to a better world.

The Solar Energy Sharing Multifunctional Lamp is a shining example of how design, innovation, and technology can be harnessed to improve the lives of people in underprivileged communities. By providing a sustainable and reliable source of light, this design is empowering individuals and driving economic development in underdeveloped regions.
